Modeled by Remy Davey Jones - Here is a rarely seen, but common enough style of hat from the Golden Age of Piracy. Ours features a 4 1/2" rounded crown and an approximately 5 1/2" brim. The center point of the tricorne has a large cut-out, creating two "horns" or points at the front of the brim. This unusual mode of cutting the brim was done in imitation of the barber's bowl, allowing the hat to be used to hold water while the cutout fit roughly under the chin, to be used in a pinch for a shave. The hat comes completely undecorated, resulting in a rough and tumble hat. Superior quality fur felt which is sized to fit. Hats available in black, dark brown, medium brown (pecan)and dark grey.
