17th Century Short
Vest- Pictured here is a shorter version of a traditional gentleman's
17th C vest, featuring a front which is 5" longer than the back. Details
include pocket flaps (functioning pocket option now available) and metal buttons. Front skirting is less flared than
the long vest. This length is suitable for a wear alone look or a shorter
coat. Garment is fully lined, with a satin back sporting self fabric ties
to control the fit in the waist.
Fabric choices include: Black or brown broadcloth, grey or old gold herringbone weave, or plum/gold sateen stripe, black/gold sateen stripe, dark green/gold sateen stripe (see long vest) or a black satin fabric
featuring a tan and red oriental pattern (pictured). Shown with our
beaded head scarf.
