Elegant Early 18th Century
Coat
Early 18th Century man's coat done in a more elegant vein.
Features a brocade fabric completely hand-trimmed with imported metallic
trims, embroidered buttons on cuff (lower right), and pleated skirting which
is slit at the side seams. Garment is fully lined. Functional flap pockets.
Made for a piratical foray by the Free Men
of the Sea to the Canadian coast in a vain attempt to shanghai the Canadian
Prime Minister.
